PaperSpan offers powerful Text to Speech (TTS) functionality, allowing you to listen to your saved articles — whether you’re actively reading or on the go.

📱 Available on Android and iOS apps.

1. TTS Within an Article

You can listen to any saved article by opening it and tapping the TTS button in the article reading view.

Key Features:

  • Tap any paragraph to start playback from that point.
  • Smooth playback continues through the article paragraph by paragraph.
  • Unlimited usage — no restriction on how many articles you can play.
  • Uses your phone’s built-in TTS engine for natural speech.

2. TTS Playlist

Want to listen to multiple articles back-to-back? Use the TTS Playlist feature:

How it works:

  • From the Reading List, long-press an article to reveal the multi-select menu.
  • Tap “Add to Playlist” to add the selected article(s) to your TTS playlist.
  • Go to the Playlist screen to view and manage your queued articles.
  • Tap any article to start listening — playback continues automatically through the entire playlist.

Limits:

  • Free users: Can add up to 3 articles in the playlist.
  • Premium users: Can add unlimited articles.
